Pathshala follow practical and behavioral aspects of education, which can help a child to have meaningful life along with academic degree. The prime goal of the education should be profession oriented with humanity and ethics. Students should be responsible and accountable to the world, nation, community and family. Pathshala Nepal is established to address these issues and its activities are conducted to accomplish these goals. Though it is very challenging, innovative and creative; it is not impossible to achieve. The whole child or whole person focus of learning can bring miraculous changes in students It has been generally observed that many parents have been taking their children abroad seeking better education from Nepal’s schools whereas we have many examples of comeback. Pathshala team is proud to share that this institution has provided meaningful education for meaningful life.

In Pathshala students learn the values of culture by active participation in various cultural activities. Pathshala has its own school made curriculum which is design to help students learn various aspects of society, cultures. For students who are just learning about their own racial or ethnic history, the inclusion of lessons that pertain specifically to their own racial or ethnic history will make them feel as though their past experiences are valid and valuable to the classroom as a whole. For students who are already knowledgeable about their own racial or ethnic history, the opportunities that they will have to contribute during lesson plans that relate to their own cultural traditions or history will make them feel important in knowing that they are aiding in the creation of knowledge in the classroom. Pathshala hopes the inclusion of culture in school curriculum will create a space in which there will be mutual understanding and appreciation for different cultures.

Pathshala focus on promoting human values by incorporating relevant teaching-learning process. Values Education is integrated in learning to instill the necessity of being responsible towards self and others. Every student as a social unit has his/her defined roles to perform at home, school and community, for the nation and to the universal beings. These social skills become a personality factors similarly elements of happiness and success at last. The lessons enable students to explore and put into practice a wide spectrum of values with the potential to enrich their lives. Proper orientation and discussion classes/session are conducted with regular teacher and Resource person. Besides this, Yoga and Meditation classes are part of eastern values given to students.

Pathshala, as always, is determined to foster not only knowledge development of learners but also their multiple intelligence and to cultivate the sentiment of global changes and challenges. Pathshala’s effort is to disseminate values based global education. Literally saying, they are going to live in a borderless global world where there will be thousands of opportunities and hundreds of fire tests. School, students and parents/guardians have equal responsibility to empower them to meet these ambitious goals. We simply offer that environment of learning in caring hands.

Values – based Education is not a new subject. It is considered as a positive approach of school to promote human values by incorporating relevant teaching-learning process. There are evidences that adaptation of this approach has enabled schools and individuals to bring qualitative improvement in pupil attitude and behaviours. That ultimately brings out good academic results and creates less stressful working – environment for teachers and parents, too. Therefore, Pathshala has emphasized on values- based Education from the day of its establishment through focus on Values in every subject based teaching – learning procedures and Assemblies. To give more supportive inspiration to individuals, we have Values- Education classes with specific Curriculum. We believe that this kind of school’s approach will help our pupil to develop ways to be aware of personal, social, moral and spiritual values.
